Alivia – Mandarina – Orangia villas are part of a complex . Each featuring 3bedrooms/3bathrooms and sleep up to 7 persons. They are open all year round and are located in the small rural village of Kontomari close to Maleme, a quiet historical seaside village in western Crete.

Villa Alivia

This spacious 214m² two storey villa sits in a citrus orchard of around 244m². A unique feature of the villa is the transparent corridor that passes through the garden and separates the sleeping areas and bathroom from the chic contemporary open plan kitchen/dining and living area. Breathtaking views of the verdant surroundings and dramatic backdrop of the White Mountain are intensified with the glass features and high ceilings within the villa. Fittings and fixtures are of excellent quality and to help optimize a comfortable sleep excellent quality bed lined and Coco-mat mattresses are used throughout.

A high ceiling and large patio doors and windows allow the sun to filter through to the modern open plan fully equipped kitchen that has an adjacent dining area with a table and seating for 6-8 persons. Next to this is the living space with a sofa, coffee table, an amplifier with two speakers, air conditioning, 42″ Sat LCD TV (Astra & Hot Bird), Wi-Fi, home cinema with projection screen, a wood burning fire and wooden floors with under floor heating.

The semi-inset kitchen is fully equipped with a coffee maker, toaster, Krups Dolce Gusto espresso coffee maker, citrus juicer & mini chopper, kettle, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, utensils, washer/dryer, a ceramic hob & oven and two bar stools.

A utility room houses a vacuum cleaner, first aid kit, iron & ironing board, small ladder, a clothes airer, safety box (laptop size), and various cleaning tools.

The corridor leads to the two ground floor bedrooms and bathroom. The bedrooms feature twin beds that can be made into a double bed. One has direct access to the pool decking where it is furnished with chairs and a small table whilst the other has access to a patio next to the garden and near the pool.  Both bedrooms feature ample wardrobe space, bedside cabinets with lamps, writing desk and a chair, a luggage rack, under floor heating, air conditioning bathrobes, slippers, and luxurious Cretan toiletries.

The marble/stone bathroom features a spacious hydro-massage shower, underfloor heating, heated towel rail, stool, hairdryer, free standing accessories and luxurious pure Cretan toiletries.

The master bedroom on the upper floor features a king size bed, 42″LCD satellite TV (Astra & Hot Bird), bedside cabinets with lamps, wardrobe, writing desk and a chair, luxury bed linen, bath towels, bathrobes, slippers, luxurious Cretan toiletries, hairdryer, air conditioning, and an en-suite shower as well as a Jacuzzi bath that sits in front of a stunning marble panel that resembles olive groves, his & hers washbasins, heated towel rail, free standing bathroom accessories.

The upper floor also features a furnished covered roof terrace with views towards of the citrus groves, the sea and the Rodopos peninsula.

Outdoors features a pool (32m²/depth 55cm-1.45mt) with walk-in steps and a Diamond Brilliance finish with quartz aggregates that give a ray of stunning rainbow like iridescences during different times of the day.  It also has a non-slip finish. There is a furnished wooden deck and a beautiful garden with flowers and mostly olive and orange trees. Enjoy summer outdoor living with a BBQ and al fresco dining at the outdoor dining table or relax with soft music from the outdoor speakers as you sit in the shade under the awning on the veranda with lounge furniture that includes a sofa, drinks table and armchairs. A Weber portable BBQ with accessories is at your disposal as is an outdoor shower and parking for two cars.
